Common symptoms in case of fever
Coexisting symptoms depend upon the degree of fever, age, underlying disease and coexisting other medical illnesses. They are often complicated by side effects and reactions of medication used in treatment.

In viral fevers cough, cold, sneezing, watering from eyes, head ache, body ache, shivering are noted along with fever. |

In malaria high fever with intense chills and rigors and perspiration are typical features. |

In typhoid 'Step ladder' increase of fever, cough, loose stools, weakness, head ache, loss of appetite, intestinal bleeding etc. are seen. |
